My Photos Aren't Full Screen: Optimizing Full-Screen Display with Auto-Rotate, Crop, and Scale.

Are you using your frame in landscape position, but take a lot of photos on your phone in portrait? If you send these as is, you may see the photos with bars on the side (to fill the screen). There are some simple ways to remedy this!

Auto-Rotate Your Frame

If you have photos on your frame that were taken in portrait mode, simply rotate your frame from landscape to portrait orientation and they will fit perfectly!

We are also happy to announce an updated PhotoShare Frame app experience that allows you to do so much more! Including, cropping the photo before sending to frames.

Crop: Tailor Your Memories

To ensure your photos fill the screen in landscape orientation:
  1. Open the PhotoShare Frame app.
  2. Select the desired frame(s).
  3. Choose the photo to crop.
  4. Tap Enhance > Crop > Landscape.

Now your photo will fit the frame perfectly when it is in landscape position!

Scale: Perfect Fit for Every Photo

For a better fit on your frame, adjust the photo's scale directly on the frame device:

  1. In Slideshow mode, select the photo.
  2. Choose Scale and select from four scaling options.
