Step-by-Step Guide to Pairing Your ClicSmart WiFi Smart Plug with Alexa

Before you begin, open the ClicSmart app and ensure that you have linked your ClicSmart Controller Switch and your Wi-Fi Smart Plug with the app.

  1. Launch the ClicSmart app and navigate to the home screen. Tap the gear icon adjacent to the WiFi Smart Plug device.


  2. From the menu options, select “Linked Devices”.


  3. Tap the “( + )” button located at the upper right corner of the screen.


  4. From the bottom menu, choose “Associate Bluetooth Device”.
      

  5. Tap on your ClicSmart device from the list of available devices, then tap “Save” in the upper right corner of the screen.


  6. The ClicSmart app will now link your Controller Switch to your WiFi Smart Plug, this process takes 10-15 seconds.

Once your ClicSmart Controller is linked to your WiFi Smart Plug, you’re ready to connect it with Alexa using the following steps:

  1. Open the Amazon Alexa App, open the “More” menu at the bottom-right corner of the screen, and then press “Alexa Skills”.



  2. In the search bar, type “ClicSmart”. Select the “ClicSmart” Amazon Alexa skill.



  3. Tap “Enable to Use” to begin the link.



  4. Follow the login flow to complete the link between ClicSmart and Alexa. Enter your ClicSmart username and password when prompted. When finished, tap the “Authorize” button.



  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to enable your ClicSmart devices in Alexa.



  6. Remember, your mobile device and Alexa device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network for this setup to work. Your ClicSmart devices will now appear in your Alexa menu of devices using the Alexa app.
