How To: Change the PhotoShare Frame's Look

Did you know that you can customize the look of your original PhotoShare Frames*? The actual wood frame can be easily removed to swap the black and white mattes, or remove it all for a more simply, modern look.

To change the look of your PhotoShare frame, follow the below instructions:

  1. Flip your frame around so you are looking at the back
  2. Locate the 4 large screws near the corners of the electronic panel (on Brookstone Frames, there will be foam circles covering the screws that can be removed first)
  3. Using a coin (or some other thin and solid device) turn the screws counter clockwise to loosen
  4. Once you have removed all 4 screws, you can remove the electronic panel from the wood frame
  5. Now you can change the matte if you like - just note that there is a small hole in both mattes that needs to align with the light sensor on your electronic panel in order for the auto-dim feature to work correctly
  6. Align the matte on the electronic panel & place the wood frame on the front
  7. Tighten the 4 screws back in place to hold it all together
*Please note this does not apply to Gallery and MyLuma PhotoShare Frames.
